What kind of breathing pattern is this?

What kind of breathing pattern is this?
Hi guys

Recently changed settings from fixed pressure at 8cmh20 with EPR 3 and no ramp to auto 8-10cmh20 with EPR 3 and 10min ramp. Reason being that I have just never really had any success with cpap after about a year. might get 2 hours in the early hours of the morning sometimes. Flow rate always shows flow limitations with flat topped inspiration curve. If I put pressure up above about a 9 I get significantly uncomfrotable aerophagia.

Anyway, wondering if anyone might point out this kind og breathing in the images. It happens sometimes and I take the mask off as I feel I'm better without it.

Much appreciated,

Jon

In the 1st chart, it looks like you are having flow limitations on and off during the entire time (look at the Flow limitations chart and line it up vertically with what is going on).

I know that you said raising pressure gives you aerophagia, so the only other thing that I can think of would be to maybe start applying some positional apnea techniques (if you are not already doing this).  Lowering pillow height, side sleeping vs. back sleep (and having something between your chin and chest (like the edge of your pillow, etc), and even a soft cervical collar.
