thanks for that yrnkrn. a no-brainer that has never occurred to me! I'm going to try that next time I get a cold.

What I've done with a FFM and my ResMed S9 is hike up the humidity level and that seems to help quite a bit, for me anyways. Then when the congestion goes away I'll tweak down the humidity level again.
It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you get there.
