Woke up with pain on every inhale

Woke up with pain on every inhale
Hi folks,

On the second night trying an APAP (Airsense 11, 7-10 range, EPR 3), nasal pillows + mouth tape. I woke up and each inhale felt like it was putting painful pressure on my brain.  I had a headache the next morning as well.  Looking at my data, did I do something wrong?  Or is this just something to get used to?  It freaked me out a good amount.

Let me know if there's any other data I can pull.

Thank you!

RE: Woke up with pain on every inhale
Your chart is only for a little over an hours time, and I don't see anything that stands out as far as you experiencing pain on inhalation.

You may however, need a bit more humidity or the nasal pillows are not the correct size. Try one size up in pillows.

In time, work on weaning yourself off the ramp feature.

I had the same problem with the pillows even after trying the large. I switched to a cushion and it’s a lot better for me. So maybe that’s something for you to consider too.

Thanks, I can try that too. By cushions do you mean the normal nose mask?

I have the N30. It goes under your nose like the p10 but nothing sticking into your nostrils.
