I have UARS and tried various machines and modes. The best one until now for me has been ResMed ASV, but I still have fatigue, and I see with Oscar that there is still flow limitation despite my optimizations.
So I thought about looking at other brands and came across YuWell, which has machines with a mode called VGPS that also aim for a specific tidal volume.
Tried to reach them, but have not been able to get any technical answer.
Does someone have any info about it ?
My questions are:
- what pattern triggers the IPAP change ?
- what time scale before it triggers ?
- is there backup rate ? If so, can it be disabled ?
- is there a min PS value ? If so, which one ?
- how the therapy pressure waveform look like? For example Resmed EasyBreath looks like shark fin, Lowenstein waveform is more square ...
The goal would be to have specific explanations, ideally like we had from Resmed and Philips Respitronics:
