Z1 problem on flight

Question
Z1 problem on flight
Took a flight from Seattle to Chicago last week.  I used my Auto Z1 with battery pack on the way home, while at cruising altitude.  My range is 7.5 to 12, very rarely climbing over 8.  Within a couple of minutes after starting therapy, the pressure started to climb, reaching almost max before I figured out that I was having difficulty.  I shut it off and re-started.  Same problem. I reset pressure relief from 2 to 3 and still had a problem.  Repeated the shutoff and restart several times and finally gave up.  Has anyone experienced this problem with Z1 or other machine?

Found this Commercial Link Removed, Instead search Supplier #14 blog on traveling with Cpap machines.

Traveling with CPAP to a different altitude:? If you are traveling to a destination with an altitude difference, be sure to check your CPAP machine’s instruction manual to find out if your machine has an automatic or manual altitude adjuster. If manual, altitude adjustments can be made through the machine’s menu.
Commercial Link Removed, instead search Supplier #26 for Z1 Auto user guide.

Air Travel – The Z1 adjusts to an airplane’s cabin pressure and is approved for use on airplanes

Check your settings? It sounds like it should be automatic...
