anter35 therapy thread - please read my OSCAR charts
Hey all,
I am on cpap 4 years, my resmed airsense 10 broke after 4 years so I am using my old dreamstation 1 until I get a replacement. I get 8 hours and ahi below 5 most days but still feel like crap.

Had a sleep study 4 years ago none since then. Felt better on the resmed but not great my health overall is not that good.

I'm 53 167 lbs sleep study said 23 ahi untreated. Dreamstation 1 fisher and paykul full face mask use humidifier, a flex is 2, auto cpap set for 8-11.

Attached are my oscar chart for 3 different days. Does this look good? Any insights?

RE: read my oscar file please
Welcome

I'm not good at reading Dreamstation charts but I see that your pressure range is off.  You are hitting your upper limit too often, and your median pressure varies from 9 to 10.5.  You should set your pressure range to 9 to 14.  That will better meet your pressure needs.

Your flow limits are too high.  Raise your a flex as high as it will go.

Could you send a few of your last Oscar charts from your ResMed machine.  That might help us see your usual sleep.

That's all I can see to help with.  Perhaps someone will have more advice for you.

Again, welcome, and best wishes for achieving great therapy and comfort.  Smile

I would set the following settings:

EPR full time
EPR 3

Min 7
max 20

Your min of 4 is to low for an adult your machine is used for children as well as adults.  You have a number of flow limits and we use EPR to help with them.  Give it a night and tell us how you feel with the new settings.

Thanks like\\Thanks so much Deborah, I used your settings and feel 100% better today. Thanks God! I guess ahi is not the only measure of therapy success.

Please read my oscar charts (cant add message can only attach charts)

I have used settings from Deborah K who was kind enough to help me out. She asked to upload my new readings so I am including a new post. I cannot seem to add a message I have to create a post then edit to add actual text.
