One SD card wipes out previously downloaded data in OSCAR [Solved: see post #7]
I have an SD card for my Autosense 10 and use it with Oscar. I created a new profile in Oscar and use a micro SD card for a new Dreamstation Go  (intended as travel machine). After downloading last night's data in my new profile, all the previous data from the Autosense disappeared even though it was in a different profile. I re-downloaded the original data from the Autosense SD card and it wiped out the Dreamstation data from last night. It appears that I cannot have data from multiple machines in Oscar with the way I am doing this. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

The only thing that comes to mind is, Are you using a completely different name for the new profile?

I have two different profile names one for the Resmed and one for the new dreamstation. Today was the first day I downloaded data for the dream station. It went into the new profile just fine but then when I went to my resmed profile all the data from the past was wiped out. So I downloaded the resmed data again in the resmed profile and that wiped out the dreamstation data that I put in today.
I am using windows 10.

From memory... there is a preferences item that asks if you want to select a profile at startup... Unless that is checked it will only go to the last profile used.
Alternatively, if you click the Profile tab in the upper left of the OSCAR window, you should see both profiles, with one highlighted. If you click the other one, you should be able to see that profile's data. OSCAR can only show the data for one profile at a time - but I can see where it would be nice to combine the data from two or more profiles - as long as they belonged to the same real user.
Unfortunately the ResMed profile forces some choices that may conflict with Dreamstation selections. Perhaps at some point we can figure out how to allow different manufactures machines to coexist in one profile.
You are seeing OSCAR switch profiles as it detects the different machines when you import, I suspect...

Bingo! Thank you! That fixed the problem. I unchecked the default and go to the profile where I want to import that data. But, both profiles now have the information from both machines so I don't have to switch back and forth to view the results from the two different machines. I just have to make sure when I import the data that I am in the profile pertaining to the correct machine.
