RE: What exactly causes an obstructive apnea event?

Sorry did you mean to say 12 for the max pressure and 4 for PS? Looks like you suggested having the max pressure lower than the EPAP above. Thanks

RE: What exactly causes an obstructive apnea event?
Hi, I switched back to the nasal mask but still had some large leaks...not as many as with the full face the previous night however. This was my 3rd night on bilevel and it really hasn't been feeling any better than CPAP so far. My pressure settings could just be off however so this hopeful I will see improvements. The leaks are definitely a problem and I am trying to figure out how to address these.

RE: charlesdobronx - Therapy Assistance
I have been dealing with a lot of leaks lately but managed to get them under control by adjusting my F40 mask tighter around the jaw where it was leaking a lot prior. My data suggests that I am having less events that normal but I don't feel a whole lot better. However it is early days for me with bipap as I just recently switched. I am wondering if anybody has any suggestions for settings? Thank you in advance!!
