cleaning up data folder, ubuntu 18.04
I'm new to the forum, my CPAP and to OSCAR. I received my USB card reader today and saw data from the SD card for the first time several hours ago. All the data from sessions playing with and learning the CPAP are corrupting the data from my sleep periods. So the stats and summary are nearly useless.

I use Ubuntu Linux 18.04 in a 3th generation I7, with 16 GB of ram, 240GB SSD, the punchbox is solid when running Linux. No errors found in running OSCAR though my Oscar use is limited at this time. The import tool imported my SD card data without incident and OSCAR displays data from all the days I used my CPAP on.

I found the .edf files in ~/documents. Can I (safely) save unneeded data files in another folder, in order to stop the experimental data from corrupting my legitimate sleep data?

TY.

You can deselect the sessions that were used for playing or setup, Go to the day of interest. Look down on the lower left of the Daily screen, and remove the check mark from the sessions you wish to omit.

Hi BB63,
OSCAR will by default put its data structures in /home/<your-user>/Documents/OSCAR_Data.  If you want to save copies of SD card data, you can create any data structure you wish in your home directory, either in ~/Documents or elsewhere, as long as its not in OSCAR_Data.  If  the .edf files ended up in the root of ~/Documents, I would move them elsewhere.  I'm using Mint 19.3 (a derivitave of Ubuntu). and everything runs clean for me.  I use a bash script with rsync to keep an updated copy of the SD card on my hard drive, as I don't wish to rely on the SD card not to fail.
