How can I set up this device for myself as a new user? I've read on here how to access the clinical menu and put in my pressure prescription, but is there a way to reset any user data? The sleep history that will get imported into OSCAR?
Thanks!

how to set up a used device
Hi all, first post, just getting started with CPAP, and going with a used Airsense 10.
How can I set up this device for myself as a new user? I've read on here how to access the clinical menu and put in my pressure prescription, but is there a way to reset any user data? The sleep history that will get imported into OSCAR? Thanks!

RE: how to set up a used device
It might help to know what machine you have.

This may help...beware of the prominent "Print PDF" ad windows (clickbait)...

RE: how to set up a used device
With the Airsense 10, just setup for the first night with minimum pressure 7.0, maximum pressure 14.0, EPR on Full-Time at Setting 3
If you download the free OSCAR software, we will help you to interpret the data and optimize the settings after your first night of recorded data. Be sure to reset the data in your CPAP by going into the Settings menu (hold down the home button and control knob until the menu option appears), scroll down to the About menu and erase all user data. This will ensure you eliminate any use prior to your own. Make a note of the run-hours while you're there. You can then set the pressure settings suggested above. and exit the clinical menu. On the left top side of the CPAP is a slot for a SD card. Be sure to put a clean formatted SD card of 4 to 32 GB in the slot to record data. Tutorials on organizing Oscar charts and attaching the image files are linked in my signature below. Good luck, and welcome to Apnea Board.

RE: how to set up a used device
Look to the clinical menu to reset the machine/delete its data. Format the SD card to delete its data or get a new one.
I only give suggestions from experience as a fellow CPAP user, not professional advice. My suggestions are for consideration, they are not definitive instructions.
