I’ve been using CPAP since December 13th. Overall it’s going well. I’m annoyed by how much I have to fuss with the mask at night, BUT I don’t feel like I’m waking up worse-rested than I was pre-CPAP, so that’s a win.
I’d like to have folks review my OSCAR data to see if there’s anything else I should tweak or be mindful of.
RE: last 3 nights of OSCAR data - anything to change?
Take a look at the pressure chart and the flow limits chart. When you have flow limits go up you pressures go up. Your min is 6 with EPR 3. We control flow limits with the EPR but the min - ePR (exhale pressure relief) can not fully work. Min 6 - EPR 3 would give a min 3. But the lowest the machine can possible go is 4. So we move the min up to allow the EPR room to help the flow limits and by doing that we dont have pressures going up and down as much. With the pressure rise and drop, you do not get into deep sleep and could even wake you up and causes leakx.
Much easier to telll you to move the min uip and see how you do.
