RE: looks like i have cheyne stokes..
well when i had the CSR pop up I had 27 CA events in 1 hr. and another 10 1 hr

other nights I'll see a cluster of 5-10 in 1 hour and thats it.

so are these qualifying?

other nights thou i'll see 1 or 2.

What number of CA that qualifies for ASV isn't specific. I believe it goes on a percentage like this CA is 50% or more of the total apnea, as in your sleep study or titration states x obstructive and y for CA and then z for mixed and w for hypopnea.

Say that we look at 2 fake people and their results. 10 Obstructive, 3 CA, 0 mixed, 5 hypopnea. This person needs APAP likely an AutoSet would handle this.

Next we have 20 Obstructive and 20 CA, 0 mixed, 4 hypopnea. This is far more likely to need ASV as CA and OA are equal.

And of course CA are inconsistent so it can be hard to get them to show consistent on tests too. I don't see yet that yours are in that CA are a real problem area. If you feel they are, we need detailed symptom statements about these. But I am not really hearing things that can be pinned to CA besides some flags on occasion. If your charts are showing AHI under 5 and you're feeling better for the PAP therapy, that's what we're after. We do not need constant flat line OSCAR with no flags at all. We do need consistent feeling good for it though.
