mixmix Therapy Thread - need help with Bipap settings.
Hello everyone, I have trouble getting the events down. There is mixed sleep apnea (CSA) and a bipap, keep having a lot of events, mainly CA. Please can you help with further adjust the settings here?

RE: Please help with bipap settings?
Welcome to Apnea Board,

Your event numbers aren't bad really. Therapy effectiveness at these numbers means to focus on how you feel, so how do you feel for the therapy?

A somewhat questionable aspect is that it appears you have a machine that could have been AirBreak hacked, as OSCAR charts call the machine AutoSet while it's running in BPAP-S, which ResMed machines cannot do from the factory.

You specifically call attention to your Central Apnea. Are they typically more than this or not? Had you done a sleep study where there were many CA? Answers will help to direct our guidance.

With the small amount of Obstructive Apnea, this may indicate min pressure could go up slightly to help. Whether it's required or not again relies on whether you're not resting well with this type of results, or if you're attempting to get events to zero. The latter goal isn't ideal for your comfort or really necessary, just low enough to rest well and decently below AHI 5, like this chart of yours.

More CA
Hi, I have a BiPAP for mixed central/obstructive apnea. My central apneas are increasing and I am more tired during the day. Should the pressure be lowered?

RE: More CA
It would be best to keep the therapy posts to one thread. I'd given some comments on your other thread.

You'll need to include a non zoomed OSCAR chart so we can get an overall view. Zoomed in is acceptable for fine details afterwards.

I can't suggest an edit, because there's info not available. What machine, what settings are you on, have already tried?

I'll be asking moderation to merge this with you other thread. Therapy conversation needs to have continuity for history. Thanks for understanding.
