new on board - currently a mess in my sleep
I am very glad that I found this forum and I can draw a lot of knowledge from it. I have read a lot and I am starting to understand, but I still have a long way to go.
I have only been sleeping with this device for a week, but I would like to not waste time and start optimizing my sleep as soon as possible.
I see a lot of periodic breathing and I do not have heart problems or stroke. Also obstructive apnea, central apnea, hypopnea.
The pressure was set by the doctor to 4-10 with a ramp. Of course 4 was too low for me and I changed the minimum to 6. I turned off the ramp.
Tomorrow I will attach the current graph from Oscar. I would be very grateful for advice from the wonderful specialists here. Thanks in advance.

Your current pressure is 6-10 with AFlex 3. That is pretty low pressure, and the amount of obstructive apnea you are reporting suggests a higher pressure is needed. I'll also add the Philips Respironics Dreamstation is not currently sold in the U.S. and when it was common here, poor results like yours were common. If you can move to a Resmed, your therapy would instantly improve. We control obstructive apnea with EPAP and use pressure support or EPR to manage flow limits and hypopnea as well as assist ventilation, tidal volume etc. Tidal volume is really good, but I would need to see a zoomed image a 3-4 minute segment of your chat to analyze the flow wave to advise on flow limits and periodic breathing. I'm nearly certain in your case with the Philips, the periodic breathing is actually obstructive, not central.
I think you need a minimum pressure of 8.0 and maximum 12.0, revise Flex to 2. Consider the positional apnea article and see if there is anything that may be contributing to chin-tucking that obstructs your airway. With the Philips CPAP, getting the minimum pressure high enough to resolve obstructive apnea is the priority.

First of all, thank you for taking up the subject.
Yes, I have read about positional apnea before and I suspected that it may occur in my case. I usually sleep on my side and my chin may fall towards my chest.
I am sending a recording from last night with a fragment where periodic breathing occurs.
Today I will change the settings according to your suggestion.
In a week or two I will try to rent Autoset for a while to see how the therapy will change compared to Respironics. I was thinking about Resmed but unfortunately my caregiver convinced me to choose Philips.
If you have access to the Autoset, I expect your event rate to fall to 3 or less. I'm certain you need the higher pressure we suggested above with this Philips.

I have two nights with pressure of 8-12. I am sleeping better now, I have become accustomed to the therapy. The number of events has definitely decreased.
Please give me any suggestions on what else I can do to reduce the number of events.
I am attaching the graphs.
