RE: new2me machine - model?
Not yet using Oscar, though I'll get to that. No need with my old machine.

Download Oscar (free) at the top of this site. Pop the card in and take a look. It will take less than 10 minutes.

Post a pic of your machine and the numbers on the bottom if visible.

I'll wait for the requested manual for now.

Question before I can get back to this next week:

I'm assuming personal information of the previous owner is stored on either or both of the machine's memory and/or the SD card.

Also _assuming_ this is an Autoset, which procedure(s) can access and change this information to my info, the clinician settings and/or OSCAR?

You can reset/erase user hours on the machine, but you cannot reset the machine/blower hours. The clinician manual will show you the menus and how to do this.

I personally would just buy a new SD card after previous user hours are reset. The machine will record data to the new SD card, and you can then upload that data to the OSCAR program.

No sorry was not intentionally being sarcastic, misinterpreted the info as only the front ID name as missing.

If you so choose, reformatting the SD to FAT32 may be an effective eraser of data on the card.

Personally I would just get a new SD card.  I just changed machines and despite lots of nice members here giving me instructions on how to wipe a card I had used briefly,  it didn't work.

There's a MicroCenter near me - new SD card is easy.

I'm more concerned about sending someone else's personal identifying information to FMCSA med examiner.

BTW, if you get a new SD, get one that is standard SD or SDHC in 2-32GB capacity, any brand is good. If you format it, go with FAT32. However, the PAP may take care of formatting when you insert the SD the first time. Best practice is to dedicate the SD to PAP machine use only.
