RE: ResScan CPAP Reporting Software (current version: 5.4) - vsheline - 05-28-2015 (05-28-2015, 03:21 AM)DOOM_NX Wrote:(05-27-2015, 04:09 AM)DOOM_NX Wrote: I just installed the newest version. Looks like it won't import the latest data correctly... I can only see my last night's sleep in the 'Summary Graphs' section, but not under the left browser section or any detailed graphs of it. SleepyHead seems to import just fine... Maybe you selected "Overwrite" during the download? Kinda sounds like you may have gotten an incomplete download and the next day selected Overwrite, which worked to fix the problem by overwriting the incomplete or bad data. However, long term, it may create problems if you keep using Overwrite. A problem often encountered if using Overwrite is it will sometimes delete previously-downloaded Detailed Data from ResScan if the machine no longer holds that data to download fresh. (Depending on the model, a ResMed machine will erase Detailed Data in itself which is older than a few days or a week or a month.) In general, best to *always* select Discard instead of Overwrite. Selecting Discard erases nothing. Selecting Discard simply ignores days for which something was previously downloaded. If you ever actually want to overwrite a recent session, first delete the session you want to replace/overwrite and then download data normally (selecting Discard). RE: ResScan CPAP Reporting Software (current version: 5.4) - DOOM_NX - 05-28-2015 vsheline, I think something like that happened. I just installed the program on my laptop and imported the same session. It looks just fine. I don't get it. I might need to wipe everything and reinstall the program and then import previous data from the SD card backups. Best to just ignore information you don't want to receive. RE: ResScan CPAP Reporting Software (current version: 5.4) - sonicboom - 05-29-2015 In addition to selecting discard on download when asked what you want to download set your default setting to the last detailed session only. That way you won't inadvertently overwrite a prior session download. Once you have the detailed graphs up, select the period you want the graphs to show (ie 30 mins, 1 hr, 8hrs, 10hrs). Then go to reports and save reports AS IS. Hope that helps. RE: ResScan CPAP Reporting Software (current version: 5.4) - msgtgek - 05-30-2015 I downloaded the ResScan 5.4 software, unpacked the zip file and attempted to install the software, but it will not install. Every time I attempt to run the setup.exe file I get the following message: Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item. Also, upon receiving the above message, the setup.exe file deletes itself. RE: ResScan CPAP Reporting Software (current version: 5.4) - AlanE - 05-30-2015 Right click setup.exe and choose to Run as Administrator. If you do not have that option, you are trying to run it within the zip. RE: ResScan CPAP Reporting Software (current version: 5.4) - msgtgek - 05-30-2015 This time I got a slightly different result, but it still won't install. It attempted to run the install (asked for permission to install), but then I got the same error message and the file deleted itself. Also, it won't run while in the zip file. RE: ResScan CPAP Reporting Software (current version: 5.4) - AlanE - 05-30-2015 Please try temporarily disabling your anti-virus and then right click run as admin for the install. RE: ResScan CPAP Reporting Software (current version: 5.4) - msgtgek - 05-30-2015 That did the trick, but my anti-virus program isn't very happy with me now. Once it is installed you can enable it again. Sometimes anti-virus programs are too protective. |
