Newbie Can't open Oscar - Gilbert1111 - 12-06-2020

Downloaded Oscar 1.2, but I can''t open it. I've double-clicked it, Ctrol clicked it, but n luck. I'm running a Mac using Big Sur 11.0.1.  I do not get an option to open, just this. Oh-jeez Oh-jeez

I don't know my way around Macs. There should be a way to install or open it despite this warning. OSCAR is safe, but you have to convince your computer it is.

Control + Click should get you a context menu that opens (Right Click works for me also).  From the context menu select Open.  That should get OSCAR started.  Then you may get a popup asking is you want to give OSCAR permission to access your files which you have to say yes too.

There is a link to the Mac install wiki in my signature that may help.

Apple keeps adding more safety features we need to jump through to get things working.

OK, so I got it. FYI, the issue was that I wasn't using Finder, but Pathfinder.
