Location Setting - Time Difference - Snooks - 03-04-2021
Hi Guys,
Just mentioning that in Oscar, when you go to the setting for the time zone difference there is no choice for selecting SYDNEY Australia.
Sydney is by far the largest city in Australia and it has the largest population, about 5.8 million people. I see Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne but no Sydney?
Just mentioning because I have either missed it, or it is an oversight and should be in the choice for time zone settings. I believe it is +11 to UTC.
Oscar is awesome guys, thanks for your hard work over the years.

Indeed, it is curious. You may not know that the timezone list was inherited from SleepyHead, which was mostly written by an Australian - but I don't know where he called home. Perhaps he thought that Sydney didn't need any more publicity?
I don't know!As you must know, Sydney shares the same time zone as Melbourne --- but it doesn't really matter, as OSCAR uses the local time and time zone on the computer to calculate the offset to GMT.

Mark is somewhere near Sunshine Coast in Queensland, so, I think that is the same timezone but better climate.

LOL thank God you are not in Australia cause they are fighting words. NOTHING in Qld is better than NSW.
The rivalries are very real when it comes to our "Cane Toad Friends" .
