Can OSCAR download data wirelessly - clownbell - 03-26-2021 I have a ResMed AirSense 10 Auto Set. OSCAR is installed on my PC. Data has been put into OSCAR via the SD card from the CPAP machine. So far, so good. Here are the questions.
Thanks for your expertise. Craig RE: Can OSCAR download data wirelessly - srlevine1 - 03-26-2021 The myAir data is transferred over a cellular telephone link and there does not appear to be any way for Oscar to initiate or receive that transmission. I am hoping that the Airsense 11 is Bluetooth enabled and it is possible to grab the data. There is always hope -- since more and more devices interact with Smartphones. BTW: It appears that only summary data is transferred, so you would still need the SD card to grab the detailed data. RE: Can OSCAR download data wirelessly - Sleeprider - 03-26-2021 Your CPAP uses a cellular phone network to transmit data back to Resmed. There is no other recipient possible. Resmed uses the data in research and distributes detailed data to subscribers of AirView (suppliers and doctors), and a very limited data is sent to patient's AirView account. A future version of Resmed machines may incorporate Bluetooth, but there is not anything like that now or announced. At this time, there is no wireless data by either Philips or Resmed that could be used by Oscar, so no plans exist to create that capability. The Resmed MyAir data and Philips Dreammapper data streams contain far less information and are supported by apps from the respective manufacturers. The SD card contains very dense data that Oscar can report and chart, but you have to use a SD card. I look at mine about once per month. If it's worth seeing, you will just have to deal with the tedious daily transfer, or do it less frequently as you see fit. RE: Can OSCAR download data wirelessly - snoo - 03-20-2022 Has anyone tried using a wifi SD card like ezShare or similar? RE: Can OSCAR download data wirelessly - Crimson Nape - 03-20-2022 Yes, but with very, very limited success. One member here came up with something. Here is the link to that thread: http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-EzShare-SDcard-wifi-Script-to-autodownload?pid=423804&highlight=ez-share#pid423804 You will need to be fairly knowledgeable of coding to be able to achieve any success. Good luck! - Red RE: Can OSCAR download data wirelessly - TennisTom - 04-27-2022 For what it's worth the ResMed airsense 11 CPAP version uses Bluetooth to communicate with the my air app |
