PR Dreamstation CPAP Pro doesn’t have auto trail - Goose - 04-09-2021
Hi all,
New CPAP user here,
I have recently purchased a PR Dreamstation CPAP Pro, reading through past threads and watching YouTube it seems this machine should feature an auto trail mode in the clinical settings.
I was looking forward to this as it would allow me to reassess my pressure every 6-12 months without the expensive appointments or paying for a month hire for APAP titration.
However, my machine does not have this feature, I suspect this is a case that Australia did not receive this feature?
Can any other aussies confirm?
The underside of my machine is as follows,
DreamStnCPAPProHumHTCell AU
AUX400T15C
I can also confirm that the firmware is version 1.1.18
I only have CPAP and C-Check modes available.
I have thought that potentially upgrading the firmware with the file available on this forum might unlock this feature as the AU models could be running a modified firmware however, anyone know?
Any insight would be appreciated,

Welcome to Apnea Board,
Why not just use OSCAR if you're wanting to see your therapy stats? This will get you on track as you can post stats here as attachments and members can suggest various tweaks to get you going.

I have used OSCAR while on a hire apap and plan on using it to analyse my data in the future while using the CPAP.
Really just wanting to figure out why my machine doesn’t have this feature and if there is any way to gain access to.

The A-Trial feature (if available on your cpap) may have to be enabled from the provider menu.

I had already accessed the provider manuals earlier in the week.
Please see the attached images, it’s definitely not under the therapy settings like described in the manuals.

I'm hoping other DreamStation users will be able to shed some light, so keep checking back here.
The only other thing I can think of is that A-Trial may only be available on the Auto machine.
