[OXUMETER] 3 weeks with Wellue Checkme O2 - withtao - 12-21-2022

I've had my Checkme O2 for three weeks. Resolved one issue caused by an old version of O2 Insight Pro on Windows. Now able to download the binary from the oximeter to a Windows directory and import into OSCAR.  I also am able to export the data as a CSV which allows me to do my own analysis using Excel.

My primary interest in the Checkme O2 was to see if my O2/Pulse Rate correlates with apnea events.  So, after importing into OSCAR I haven't seen much cause and effect of an apnea event with desaturation of O2 or change in pulse rate. I was able to determine I have some low O2 and Pulse Rates for brief moments that I wasn't aware of.  Notified my PCP and they ordered an oximeter that was promised for Monday that just arrived today, Wednesday.  I just wanted to see if my Checkme O2 is accurate and then if I need to address the O2 and Pulse Rate.  Will report how the Checkme measures against the ResMed (nonin) oximeter that the DME provided.

If anyone is interested I can explain the process and the Excel spreadsheet

Hi, I know how to get CSV data from my O2Ring sessions, but would be interested to know what kinds/techniques of analysis you use. Cheers, David.

I open the .csv with Excel  and save it as .xlsx.  I then name the first O2 value firstO2 and the last O2 LastO2 (right click on column).  Then at the bottom of the data I created formulas using the named columns e.g. =AVERAGE(firstO2:lastO2) and =COUNTIF(firstO2:lastO2,">94", etc.

couple of examples:
average =AVERAGE(firstO2:lastO2)
# samples (B18005) =COUNT(firstO2:lastO2)
<89 (count of O2 <90) =COUNTIF(firstO2:lastO2,"<90") (% of O2 <90) =INDIRECT(ADDRESS(ROW(),COLUMN()-1))/B18005

I have formulas for O2 and Pulse Rate
