water droplets in mask cushion - cberistain - 01-30-2023

recently I started seeing water droplets in the mask when I get up in the morning .. not a rain out, just more than I've seen in the past .. what is the best way to adjust the machine to eliminate this? cpap machine is lower than the bed, the hose drops to the floor, then up to the bed so it would be hard for water to migrate to the mask. heated hose, etc. if that helps.

What you are seeing is likely exhalation condensing on the cooler mask, especially if the room is cooler in the winter.

Raising the tube temperature may warm up the mask, especially if your hose cover comes right up to the mask.

thanks, makes sense.  guess it is time to get a hose cover.
