Safety of memory foam CPAP cushions - shutto - 02-05-2023

I use a Resmed Airfit N30i nasal mask. I wake up multiple times per night to reposition the mask because it slides which increases resistence making it hard to breath or it leaks and the sound wakes me up. Getting the openings in the mask exactly in the correct position to allow free air flow is difficult.

I am considering trying a Resmed memory foam mask. The reviews suggest there is less leakage and less skin irritation with this cushion.

I am concerned about the safety of memory foam due to knowm toxic chemicals used in bed mattrees memory foam and since I will be breathing through this mask nightly, I want to make sure the cusion is not made with toxic materials. New manufacturing techniques have alledgedly reduced these toxic materials which are released from the memory foam, but would like to know for sure. Does anyone have any information on the safety of these memry foam cushions regarding chemicals used to manufacture them.

Thank you for your response!
