Things Going Well on Paper, Symptoms Remain - cpapnewbie18 - 03-06-2023

Hi,

I (23m) was diagnosed with sleep apnea about a year ago, primarily as the result of RDIs (around 10). I've been treating with a ResMed Aircurve 10 machine (after little success with normal CPAP), with an IPAP of 15.6 and an EPAP of 12. While initially dealing with lots of flow limitations and awakenings, it seems like things have been going better on paper (according to OSCAR).

That said, I still feel quite sleepy regardless of how good my numbers look and/or how much sleep I get. My flow rate chart is still a bit choppy, but it looks fairly good. My nose tends to be fairly congested at night, but that doesn't seem to be impacting my OSCAR data much.

I'm not sure where exactly to go from here. Anyone have any advice? I've attached screenshots of my charts below.

Thanks!

Have you verified your overnight O2? the machine doesnt measure your O2 levels when you have an event. Personally, I'm big big believer in having O2 oximetry to check against Machine data.
