RE: Leak rate is too night
First - don't be alarmed. For your machine, a leak rate less than 24 is acceptable and the machine will work fine and record accurate data. From the info provided no one can say for sure what is causing your leaking but it would appear to me that it is either mouth breathing (usually indicated by flat tops on the graph lines) or positional - you turned a certain way causing one of your nasal pillows to slightly dislodge.

RE: Leak rate is too night
I agree with the previous post. Every night is different. As long as the obvious charted leaks are temporary, and don't recur night after night, or have a long durations, they can be dismissed as temporary aberrations. As the previous person points out, your machine can manage to overcome such minor and short-lived leaks rather easily and still provide you with good therapy. As your machine posts, your AHI of 1 is rather excellent.
Sleep as well tonight.

Hello Nickykani
Your AHI numbers are good and it appears that these are better with EPR turned off. Your leaks are less than 24 and for resmed, these are considered acceptable leaks. Please omit the calendar by clicking on the triangle at the heading-this will give more space for information. Also try raising your minimum pressure to about 6 as this might help to prevent some of the hypopnea and obstrucions you are getting.

RE: Leak rate is too night
Hello, Nickykani. Welcome to the forum.
I would love to have your leak rates. As stated before, anything below 24cm is acceptable. A few short duration leaks above 24cm will not affect your treatment either. Your leaks could be from either bumping you mask and causing it to lose it’s seal briefly or possibly short duration mouth leaks. At any rate, they are nothing to be concerned about. I agree that you do better without epr. It appears to be causing CA event’s. Raising your minimum to 6 or 7cm will get it closer to your average pressure, which will help the hypopneas you are having. Your maximum pressure may need to be raised also, but should be OK for now. Give yourself a few nights to get used to the new settings before making additional changes. Turning off the pie chart and the calendar will give more room for addition data in the left sidebar.
