Well, history repeated itself.
The different supplier "sold" me a new, in-the-box 560. Except they didn't. When after a while I called to change to a more expedited shipping method, they allowed as how they also did not actually have one, and wanted to sell me something else, just as the original supplier had. So I cancelled that order also.
Finally, I bought a used 560. At least I think I did . . .
My refunds have both gone through now, at least.
