[Treatment] Any advice?

Any advice?
Hi guys.  Been on the DS go for about a month.  Been tinkering with the settings on and off and this is the best result I can get.  However, when I wake up and the machine is out of ramp mode, I get the feeling as though my lungs can't empty completely when I relax for exhalation, resulting in a bit of a breathless feeling.  I'm guessing from a deadspace like condition and co2 building up?

Any advice?

That is normal, because your lung doesn't fully empty. The pressure keeps your air sacks open a bit, called peep. You are getting enough air, just relax and don't try to breathe out. it will happen. i would increase the ramp pressure 1cm at a time, till you don't need it.
Do you have a chart with min pressure 9?

For auto-cpap, from machine data or software. You can set the min pressure 1 or 2cm below 95%. Or clinicians commonly use the maximum or 95% pressure for fixed pressure CPAP, this can also be used for min pressure.

Thanks for the reply.
Sorry, I don't understand what you mean by min pressure 9...
The other graphs under the screen shot are resp. rate, tidal volume, minute vent, insp. time, exp. time, AHI and Time at pressure.

RE: Any advice?
in your machine settings you have it set to min pressure 10, max pressure 16.

In the oscar stats, you have med, 95% and max pressure all showing 10 in oscar. I was wondering what a chart with machine setting min 9 would look like. I would like a bit of pressure movement between med, 95% and max. To confirm you aren't running too much pressure. Depending what 9 shows, in the end you may choose to stay at 10

Ok, understand now.

I'll set min to 9 tonight and post the chart tomorrow.
Thanks so much!

Good morning!

Attached are the graphs from last night, min pressure setting at 9.

Any recommendations?

It looks like you had a rough night and needed more pressure than your original chart. You had more FL and vs2. If that continues over the next week and isn't a one off. I would go back to 10. Looking at that chart, 10 isn't over pressure for you.

Thanks so much.  I'll keep at this for another couple of nights and see how it goes.  If it continues like this, I'll take your advice and go back to 10.
