Downloaded OSCAR--Profile Page Empty
Didn't get help on another thread saying I was having problems with OSCAR, so I completely removed all settings, data and the software. Now downloading it again and when the profile page comes up to populate with my information, nothing is there except the heading and the right column, where it states: "You must create a new profile." That is what I am trying to do, but no form is printed for me to do so. Where do I go from here? Getting desperate after 3 days of no OSCAR reports--I'm addicted!

OK, What computer system, and where are you specifying the OSCAR data file location?

I use Windows 11 and chose the programs 0ption to store it. Found this now by searching:
Windows©: ProgramData Microsoft Windows StartMenu Programs OSCAR
when it loads the whole Profile form doesn't come up

Over in the right column, third button down is "New Profile". Click that and the form, several pages, will open up.

The OSCAR program and the OSCAR Data file are 2 different directories, located in totally different locations. Start OSCAR, select Help > About OSCAR. On the popup window that appears, look on the right side for the blue words, "Show data folder". Select it, and please copy the data folder path and post it here.

I feel like a complete dummy--I must have gone to that page 4 or 5 times before posting and thought I tried every line in that right column even if grayed out! It worked--form is there for me to fill in. I'm still shaking my head in disbelief that was the problem.... Thanks so much to both of you for helping my aging brain!
