[Equipment] Respironics System One Blower Motor Replacement.

Respironics System One Blower Motor Replacement.
I am looking to replace my System One 760P BiPap blower motor. Part number 1071170. The blower is making a very loud whining noise, possibly bad bearings.
My BiPap died last night, and I need to replace it ASAP.
Thank you!

I think any System 1 blower would work. Try to salvage one if you can. I doubt you can find one new. The unit has been recalled.

I suggest it's time to think about a new machine as that one is pretty old.
perhaps a ResMed VAUTO.

Thanks Sleepster! You are right, it is time for a new machine. Just got some insurance so I can get another study done and a new machine. I have not had a job because of an illness, and not able to get a new one. I just needed it to last another 6 weeks then get a new study and machine.

I have been looking for a used/salvaged one.

What is the firmware version of your device? This part number was very old.

Yes, the unit is very old. Firmware is 3.xx from what I see on the underside of the unit.

I'm not sure 1071170 is the right part. The firmware version will pop up when power connected.
As far as I know there are two types of blower, 1080758_B for v3.06 or lower, 1143320 for v3.08.

I took the blower part number right off the blower, so it is correct. I have pics, but can't seem to get them loaded. Thank you for taking the time to respond!
