RE: High amount of central apnea caused by OSA?
I would say this is improved leak control. Except for that bit near the end of session.
You'd not want to accept much more leaks than this, especially consistent leaking. More leaks means more chance to disturb sleep and minimize therapy effectiveness.
Big test is how do you feel after that sleep session?
One pointer on chin straps, be certain it's not designed to pull the jaw backward.

RE: High amount of central apnea caused by OSA?
The only chin strap I found online not to pull the jaw back was the Knightsbridge. Far too much fabric for me to fall asleep with. I use the ResMed chin strap. It's the least obtrusive one I have tried so far, and can actually sleep with it. I like mouth tape and wish I could make it work, but I wake up with tons of (warning*) drool and the tape is usually balled up somewhere but not on my mouth. I tweaked the humidity settings and it helped a bit but it was too iffy to work long-term I think. I wake up feeling refreshed and still have tons of energy throughout the day, so I think the leaks aren't too disruptive for now. I've even begun dreaming more often in the past month or so. I used to dream a lot as a kid but obviously, with sleep apnea that wasn't so often.

OK copy. If you can keep this reasonably consistent you should do well.
