ChinStrap & Data

Question
ChinStrap & Data
Hi All,
I recently started using a chin strap to reduce my mouth leaks / dry mouth which I have seen success. Has anyone experienced increase brain fog or grogginess after starting using a chin strap?
I've attached a night of data from Oscar for review as well.
Thanks in advance!

RE: ChinStrap & Data
I doubt it is the chinstrap causing the issues, though some do pull back on the chin which causes issues with flow limitations and possibly jaw soreness.

You do have quite a few flow limitations not being handled by the constant pressure which look to be causing arousals. There is also a small mouth leak around 03:15-04:40 that is likely disturbing you as well. If you want to stay with fixed pressure consider bumping it up slightly, maybe 0.2 cmH2O at a time to see if it handles the FL's better.

If you want to try APAP mode, consider trying a starting range of 8-15 EPR 3 full-time. We can see how it titrates the pressure to handle events and fine-tune from there.
