It'd be fun to have a CPAP machine with a replacement custom-made case made of lucite (or perspex if you're British), sort of like the well-known Visible Man and Visible Woman human models that show the various biological systems through a clear plastic skin. (BTW, did you know that the Visible Woman is available with an optional Pregnancy Kit? Fun stuff.)

It's also the sort of thing that the big manufacturers of the CPAP machines could use as marketing gimmicks and Xmas gifts ... imagine an A10 and a Dreamstation, etc., lined up side by side as a science-museum exhibit, all of them with clear cases showing the operating guts as they're running.

And then of course we would need to make the air flow visible with some colored smoke, as in wind-tunnel testing. Let's see, what else ... evaporation from the surface of the water in the humidifier, and the water vapor being absorbed into the passing air: how do we show that?

Exactly! The response to pressure change and it ramp and vent slope are so quick as well.
I kinda wanna buy a unservicable AirSense just to see the impeller design or just dirty wire it to a controller and see how it spins and generate the pressure.
