I can breath in, pretty much, I guess.  BUT I can’t breath out.  It’s brick wall all over again.

Now what do I do?

It will start gentle until you are asleep.

Actually, the VAuto does not have auto ramp. You have to specify the time.

Right.. but pick a time.. how long does it usually take you to fall asleep? 10? 20? minutes... just pick one.

I picked 10 minutes just to try it out.  But more than a few breaths and I feel like I’m being suffocated.

Now what do I do?

You have your min EPAP at 6, and you can't breathe out against that??

Perhaps it's just anxiety and you should give yourself some time to adjust, say watching TV, before you try to sleep?
Caveats: I'm just a patient, with no medical training.

Do you mean you can't breathe IN or you can't breathe OUT?

If the former.. try increasing Start EPAP to a higher level (that pushes up the Start IPAP to be Start EPAP + PS... in your case Start EPAP +4)

I think so???  Now all of a sudden I can’t get into the clinicians menu.  Your supposed to press in the dial and press the power button right?

I see the sleep report for just the short time I had it on.  There are all kinds of things listed there.

Also, now it seems like I can breath in and out of my mouth but the nose part of the mask seems to be the biggest problem.  If I keep my mouth open I at least don’t feel like I’m going to die.  But if I close my mouth I can’t handle the nose breathing.

Jeeze, I’m so discombobulated I pressed the wrong combo.  Thanks!

Yes, my min is definitely 6

Slow down here and think...

What mask are you using?

You had it set up for your full face mask... so why not use it... you had some familiarity with that.

If you are trying a nasal mask you have the machine set wrong.

I'd suggest using the old full face mask since it's like an old friend

You can change to the nasal mask at a later stage
